जमशेदजी टाटा के नाम पर जारी होंगे सिक्के

देश में उद्योगों की नींव रखने वाले जमशेदजी टाटा को भारत सरकार सम्मानित करने जा रही है।

केंद्र की मोदी सरकार ने टाटा के नाम से स्मारक सिक्का जारी करने का फैसला किया है।

मंगलवार को टाटा की 175वीं जयंती के मौके पर इसे जारी किया जाएगा। टाटा के नाम पर सिक्का जारी होना अपने आप में इसलिए अनोखा है क्योंकि देश में पहली बार किसी उद्योगपति के नाम पर सिक्का जारी होगा।

दरअसल, प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की नजर उद्योगपतियों पर ही है जिन्हें वह मेक इन इंडिया अभियान से जोड़ने को बेताब हैं। इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं कि टाटा के नाम से सिक्का जारी करने पर उद्योगपतियों के बीच इसका सकरात्मक संदेश जाएगा।

भारतीय उद्योग के जनक कहे जानेवाले जमशेदजी टाटा ने एशिया की पहली स्टील कंपनी बनाई थी। झारखंड का शहर जमशेदपुर जिसे टाटा भी कहा जाता है, को उन्होंने ही बसाया था।
